Boxing gloves for kids

Kids Boxing gloves for Thai boxing, Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, Kung Fu and other budo sports. We have a large range of gloves for children and young people, with sizes ranging from around 2oz up to 8oz, or 2 to 13 years.

OZ (ounce) shows how much padding is in the gloves. A very general size chart for children's gloves looks like this:

 2oz: 2 to 4 years,

 4oz: 4 to 6 years

 6oz: 6 to 9 years

 8oz: 9 to 12 years

Normally when you start getting into your teens, you move on to "adult gloves" which simply continue with 10oz, 12oz, 14oz, etc.

A teenager who will be sparring with others should preferably use at least 14oz. A lighter teenager who mostly practices technique can get away with 12oz or even 10oz.

If the gloves feel large inside, you can fill them with boxing wraps. The wraps also protect against possible damage. We have shorter kids boxing wraps in 1.5 and 2.5 meters.
